Yesteryear Collection



Glebe Quarry is a historic limestone quarry located south of the village of Ancaster, Lincolnshire. It is identified in archaeological and geological records as a site where stone was quarried in Roman, early medieval, and modern periods.

Description: Bright red main body, black chassis; red cab roof; black seat; red daisy wheels; gold plated parts; 'R&B SMITH AGGREGATES' in cream lettering on both sides and rear of truck; 'R&B SMITH in crem lettering on headboard; '1' in cream on both cab sides; 'Glebe Quarry Fletton Tel:676' in cream on both cab doors; full load of sand and gravel.

Notes: Only numbers 1 to 72 produced of this model by Mid Anglia Diecast Models were issued with certificates and had a black roof. Numbers 73 to 1000 were produced by Alternative collection with a change in the colour of the cab roof to red.
This model is packaged in a maroon J-type window box.
